Perhaps the ultimate answer to all pool surface concerns is pebble surfaces. Small, smooth river pebbles are embedded in exposed aggregate or pebble surfaces. These finishes have increased in popularity dramatically over the past decade, because the stone material that comprises river pebbles is chemically inert. These small pebbles are unlikely to react with swimming pool or spa water and are therefore, unreceptive to attack or alterations in appearance.
Any of the products and surface options listed here can add years of durability and enhance the stunning beauty of a well-made and well-maintained pool or spa. Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of each finish is the solution to avoiding unexpected frustrations and making a wise choice.
Exposed aggregate surfaces are available through Pacific Pool Plastering, a licensed dealer and applicator of the Pebble Tec® line of pool finishes. For more information or to schedule a free consultation, call (209) 556-0374 or email: sales@pacpool.com
